HEALTH CARE
- Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital is a 25-bed
acute care and 46-bed long term and skilled care facility licensed by the
State of Nebraska and accredited for Medicare and Medicaid. The hospital has
access to over 60 visiting physicians.

CHURCHES
Central City has a variety of local and area churches to serve the spiritual
needs of the community. Visitors are welcome to attend any of Central City's

SENIOR CENTER
Central City's Senior Center, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m., offers a gathering place for seniors to socialize and participate
in crafts. Located at 803 C Avenue, the Center's kitchen serves lunch daily.

CHILD CARE
Merrick County Child Development Center, 2412 23rd Avenue, is open 5:30
a.m.-6 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The Center accepts children 6 weeks to 12 years
